Handmade in small batches at Applecross Farm, our Smoked Cumberland Sausages are a true taste of the British countryside — made from woodland-raised pigs reared locally to our farm, then crafted with care using traditional methods and clean, honest ingredients.
We hand-blend our own herbs and spices for that gentle, peppery warmth before naturally smoking each sausage over apple wood from our family orchards. The result is a rich, rounded flavour that’s full of character yet free from anything unnecessary.
Entirely nitrate-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free, these sausages are smoked to an internal temperature of 65°C, so they’re fully cooked and ready to enjoy — simply re-warm in a pan, under the grill, or over the coals for a wholesome meal packed with flavour.
All orders are delivered frozen via next-day courier, packed with care in eco-insulated sheep’s wool liners and recyclable cardboard boxes, ensuring your sausages arrive perfectly chilled and ready for the freezer or fridge.
Perfect for breakfast, barbecues, or served with buttery mash and onion gravy — this is traditional food, made cleanly and with respect for the land.
