This streaky bacon is made the slow way—because there is no other way to do it properly.

Over 20 days of curing, cold smoking, and resting, using nothing but time, patience, and quality ingredients.

The pork comes from woodland-raised pigs in Cheshire, cured gently to draw out depth and balance, then cold-smoked over applewood in long, unhurried sessions. After smoking, the bacon is rested to mellow and harmonise, allowing the smoke to soften and the natural sweetness of the pork to come through.

Finished by hand, thick-cut for proper cooking, this is bacon with real texture, a clean smoke, and a deep savoury finish—no shortcuts, no rush, just traditional craft.

This is bacon as it used to be made.
